Sticky Notes for the Soul
Here are a few reminders for your lovely soul.

The Big Leap Forward
The leap of faith flows one way like a river.

Chiseled Souls
I thought on my walk today about how one’s soul is a perfect sphere and then we are carved from the moment we are pulled or pushed from the womb. The violent miracle of birth begins the shape of our identity.

Heart over Mind; Fear of Change

Create Your World
Life is like a painting.
The Purpose of Love

A Relationship is Not Like a Bank
I would rather think of my love like the ocean….
How Am I Fucking Up My Kids?
The quest for learning about love leads to learning about wounds. Learning about wounds leads to learning about how to avoid or heal them. At the root of it all, is the love of a parent.
If Marriage Were a Car…
If your marriage were a car… How is it maintained? Do both people love it still? Are you taking it new places? Is in disrepair? Sometimes it helps to think of serious things in a simpler way.
My Hope For Love
Written in the Spring of 2021 during the Pandemic (which had rendered me pandemonic), navigating dating apps, and missing my true love, this post attempts to explain the confusion of true romantic love and self love.
Alignment
Seeking alignment in one’s life is about becoming true to your heart/soul. Alignment leads to our truth, strength, balance, potential, and peace. No one can do it for you; even in yoga, with Michael pushing and prodding me into place, I had to do the work. It cannot be thought through in mind only, it has to be felt also in the heart. And it is not a fixed position; you will constantly tweak, adjust, and remind yourself as soon as one thing is in place to address another that has slipped away. And to breath, always breath. Alignment is active, it twists and turns, it roots down, and shoots up. It is sensing and feeling its way, constantly seeking the truth.
